  Lumber Liquidators, at least this location, should be avoided if you want the best deal. The main cost of a job is the labor. They even try to charge shipping to their store. They wanted to charge eight thousand dollars for laminate. They also quoted us five thousand dollars for vinyl. That's what they call linoleum now. We went with a big chain, as seen on TV, M-piretoday, and paid 2,500. This included a 600 discount for going through HomeAdvisor. We are very happy with our results. The flooring industry has a half price sale after summer. Lumber Liquidators can give you an itemized quote, where you'll see the cost of the floor has little to do with their total qoute. This company might do good work, but we were dissatisfied with their price, and they did not call to make an appointment when they said they would. We had to keep calling them. Poor customer service.
  Note; Do not go to a hardware store chain for flooring and installation! If they actually give you a quote, it will be about eight dollars a square foot at a minimum. Don't believe me? Check the BBB.
